Martin Cothran is a writer and educator who lives in Danville, Kentucky. He is the editor of "The Classical Teacher" magazine and is Latin, logic, and rhetoric instructor at Highlands Latin School in Louisville, Kentucky. He also serves as senior policy analyst with The Family Foundation of Kentucky. He also serves as Master Teacher at Mars Hill, Lexington.
He is the author of 5 books, including "Traditional Logic: Books I and II", "Material Logic: Book I", "Classical Rhetoric with Aristote", and "Lingua Biblica: Old Testament Stories in Latin."
He is a frequent guest opinion writer for newspapers across Kentucky. He has also appeared on numerous television and radio programs and is a frequent guest on Kentucky Educational Television's “Kentucky Tonight”.
Cothran graduated from the UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in economics and philosophy. He also received an M. A. degree in Christian apologetics from the Simon Greenleaf School (now a part of Trinity University).
